The PDR Manager will oversee the daily operations of the PDR department, ensuring that all PDR technicians are performing at their best and that customer expectations are met or exceeded. This role involves managing a team of skilled PDR technicians, coordinating repair schedules, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of PDR techniques, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of PDR technicians to achieve high performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and provide feedback.
- Facilitate ongoing training and development programs for PDR technicians to ensure skill enhancement and adherence to industry standards.
Operational Oversight:
- Schedule and coordinate repair jobs, ensuring timely completion and optimal workflow.
- Monitor and manage the PDR department’s workload, allocating resources effectively.
- Ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest quality standards, performing quality checks as necessary.
Customer Service:
- Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide estimates, and explain the PDR process.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of repair jobs, technician performance, and customer interactions.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures within the PDR department.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest PDR techniques, tools, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the PDR industry, with a strong understanding of PDR techniques and processes.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within an automotive repair environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using computer software and tools related to job scheduling and customer management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional certifications or training in automotive repair, management, or related fields are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Dent Repair:
- Perform paintless dent repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality results.

Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough inspections of repaired areas to ensure that all dents have been effectively removed.

- Document and report any issues or concerns to the PDR Manager.
Customer Interaction:
- Communicate with customers to explain the PDR process and answer any questions they may have.

Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and care for PDR tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or needs for replacements to the PDR Manager.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest PDR techniques, tools, and industry trends.

- Proven experience as a PDR Technician, with a strong portfolio of completed repairs.
